There are two types of happiness one can give to oneself. The direct and indirect way. Ironically, it's the direct way tt's the hardest, whereby you do things tt'll make only you yourself happy. The adventurous kind can take up wakeboarding and skydiving, while the others can do what they like to obtain happiness. If a smile is a sign of happiness, then do these ppl laugh when they do stuff alone? Maybe they'll feel contented with their life, but are they really happy? If one smile is worth 50% of happiness, then i can safely say that the happiness level is only 0%.
The other way is through others where you seek ur happiness. The mearest actions from your part tt will positively affect others will positively affect back to you too. Doesn't it just lift your spirits up when someone shows you some gratitude for a small thing you have done for them? Even though its the mearest of thanks, you'll feel tt somebody actually recognises you and your actions. From here, because 2 smiles are involved, 2 x 50% = 100%!!!
Of course, appreciation is the most important factor, almost like a multipler. The more someone gets appreciated for his/her actions, the more he/she'll do more in the future. But if one doesn't get the recognition he/she deserved, no matter how small, they'll feel neglected. They feel that no matter how much they do, they can no longer make other people happy. Then they'll attempt to do things on their own, believing that other people are not improtant to their happiness. However in reality, their happiness level is still 0% because there is no one to share it with. simple maths.
Of course, then, there's the other type of happiness tt others give to you. Tts when they do something tt's so out of the blue and yet you know you know you had been waiting all along for tt sort of thing to come. Then your happiness level goes way beyond the chart. Me? i had it once early this year, and im still relieving it.
